Get the Look - Avril

Avril Lavigne is an amazing singer/songwriter. And lately EVERY one of her songs completely relates to me. Anyway, I thought I would do this get the look thing on Avril. Her style is very out there yet its simple. I've also found with Avril, is that shes quite dramatic and uses thick eyeliner and a nude coloured lipstick/lipgloss.

This look is quite a natural one that even I would wear. I wouldn't wear the shoes though as I don't like that sort of thing.

This is the look Avril wore in her music video "Smile". Although the shirt isnt exactly the same I believe it has the same edge she was looking fore. 

This style of Avril's is evident through almost ALL of her earlier songs. Its the plaid skirt simple tee style. She this sort of thing in "Girlfriend" and "Best Damn Thing" and also during a tour of some kind. It is less dramatic then her other looks as its not so dark and heavy on her eyes. It is definitley my favourite of Avril's.

 

Now of course I had to add in the cheerleader look from the "Best Damn Thing" video. She's really trying to be "that" girl. Yeah you know the one, the "cheerleader". (if you don't get it, it's because I'm trying not to swear). Anyway although I couldn't EXACTLY what she is wearing I think I covered the cheerleader look.

So that is my Avril Lavigne Get the Look.

Last Days of Summer

As it is the 15th today and its quite hot (currently 30 degrees celcius) I was thinking Summer is almost over. This is my Summer outfit - I have worn this almost all the time. I like it because the singlet is short (it is a tight fiting one though) and the skirt is short enough to not be catching on your legs.


I love this look and its nice and simple and cheap. I definitely recomend this for next summer!

Frozen - Fashion & Beauty

Lately I have been obsessing over Frozen (the Disney movie). So I decided to do this Fashion and Beauty post on the clothing, make up and nails based on the two characters - Elsa and Anna.
