New Old Camera

So the other day I was going through the cupboards in my house and I found my mums old camera in one of them. Its a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30 camera. It's meant to be Panasonic's transition camera between the small pocket cameras and a DSLR camera. My mum actually said that she didn't need it anymore so I can have it now. The only problem is that the battery is broken so I had to order a new and don't know how well the camera actually works. When I get the battery I will take some photos and show you guys. If it works well I will be able to start to take photos for the blog. I will let you know when the battery comes. Have any of you guys ever used this camera, if so tell me how it works in the comments.
